In creating Genomics Australia, the Australian Government responded to a call from the health genomics sector to create a national entity that could coordinate efforts to connect experts and consolidate resources. The goal was to ensure that genomics is integrated into health care in a way that meets the needs of all Australians.
Genomics Australia is currently curating a range of resources to connect healthcare professionals with information developed by sector organisations – both government and non-government – who are active in delivering and supporting health genomics services.
